Safety
Is snorkeling safe there?
The sea entry at SkyReef is gradual and very safe. The water starts very shallow, knee-deep at the entrance, and you advance at your own pace. The reef is just meters from shore. Our staff is always present. Suitable for all ages, including children and seniors.

Food
Is the food good? Will it upset my stomach?
We work with local fishermen who supply us daily with fresh product: ceviche, octopus, seafood and lobster tacos. We're not a generic tourist restaurant. These are real Mexican Caribbean dishes, prepared with fresh ingredients every day.

Is it really as beautiful as the photos?
The photos on this page are not stock images. They are real photos taken at SkyReef by guests and our team. Cozumel hosts the second largest coral reef in the world. The water really is that turquoise and the reef is meters from shore.

SkyReef was born from a simple idea: sharing the natural paradise of Cozumel with visitors from around the world, without compromising authenticity. We are a family business located at Carretera Costera Sur Km 10, facing one of the most spectacular reefs in Mexico.
We are not a massive resort or a generic tour operator. We are a local team that knows the sea, Caribbean cuisine and Cozumel hospitality from the inside. Every dish and every experience is designed so you leave feeling like you lived something real.
